This is my most requested recipe. I love this dessert because any excuse to order Piemonte hazelnuts makes for an exciting package delivery day. The recipe doesn’t have many ingredients but quality ingredients are key. I have made this with supermarket hazelnuts and it doesn’t come close. I promise it’s worth purchasing the ones from Piemonte. I’ll share a link in the products section for where to buy them. This is a symbiotic bake where the cake needs egg whites and the zabaione needs the same amount of egg yolks. What makes this great for a dinner party is you can make the cake the day before and make the sauce right before serving. Like my last email, I’ll share links for helpful tools in the tools section.
