I eat clams often. With the S. Jersey Shore so close by clams are accessible and cheap in Philadelphia. In this newsletter I’ll share a couple of shops to purchase / prices of clams in Philly, S. Jersey, and online. When making a dish like spaghetti alle vongole I skip white wine. My preference is that the dish favors the sweet and saltiness of clams finished with the heat of chili, umami of garlic, and freshness of parsley.
