Sharing two comforting quick to make dishes. The weather has been warm with a sprinkle of chilly days. Most of the dishes I usually crave during November are on hold until the weather dips. The stewed lentil dish is something I would even make for Thanksgiving. Since fennel is in season, I add it to this dish. It’s not a major identifying flavor but I love the hint of anise. The chicken dish I’ve shared before on Instagram and also have a fried chicken cutlet recipe version here on Substack. These are both great dishes to make for yourself or for guests. Serve with an arugula salad tossed in lemon juice, olive oil, and shaved parm. Crusty bread. 10 / 10 meal.
